ofstedOfsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills.

We report directly to Parliament and we are independent and impartial. We inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

ChecklistEvery week, we carry out hundreds of inspections and regulatory visits throughout England, and publish the results on our website.

To find an inspection report, go to the Find an inspection report page. We work with providers which are not yet good to promote their improvement, monitoring their progress and sharing with them the best practice we find.

parentview

Ofsted run a separate website called Parent View. Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child's school.

Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child's school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour.

By sharing your views, you’ll be helping your child’s school to improve. You will also be able to see what other parents have said about your child's school. Or, if you want to, view the results for any school in England.
