Key Stage 4 (Years 10 & 11)

One hour lessons

The curriculum at Key Stage 4 will prepare pupils for GCSEs in Mathematics, English Language, Science, and four other optional subjects.  Most pupils will also take English Literature at GCSE.  In addition to these subjects, all pupils will study Physical Education, Citizenship/Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education and Religious Education.

Highams Park School is a non-denominational Academy, without a particular religious affiliation.  A broadly based Religious and Moral Education Programme is taught.  However, this does not prejudice parents' rights under Section 25 of the Education Act 1944 in relation to pupils' attendance at religious worship or instruction.
