Ofsted, the government agency that inspects schools, has set up a website called Parent View where parents can give their views about any school in the country. You can also view the results of other contributions.

In the past, before Ofsted's Parent View came along, Highams Park School conducted its own Parent Satisfaction surveys. Now we don't issue these but instead encourage parents to make use of the Ofsted Parent View website instead.

Our Parents Satisfaction survey results from previous years can be found in the Satisfaction Surveys menu on the right or on the About Us menu and then down to the Parents Information item where there is a pop out menu to the right showing results from previous years.

Parent View - Give Ofsted your view on your child's school

We would like to encourage all parents of children in the school to make use of Ofsted's Parent View website and contribute their views.

We would find it a valuable source of information to help us in our efforts to constantly improve.

School Performance Tables2 01

You can also find valuable information about any school on the government's own webpage called "Compare school and college performance".

These pages are often known as School League Tables.

You can read about the school's performance by clicking here

Ofsted's webpage says

"Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. The survey can be completed at any time; you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.

We will use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect and when.

By sharing your views, you'll be helping your child's school to improve."

The questions asked by Ofsted's Parent View are very similar to the ones we used in our own school surveys. We added further questions to the Parent View ones to construct our own extended questionnaire in the past.
