GCSE 2018 13GCSE exam results -Thursday 22nd August 2019

Provisional results for Year 11 pupils will be available in the school hall from 09.00 am on Thursday 22nd August. Language candidates collecting their GCSE results should come along at 11.00 am.



All results at this time of year are provisional in case there is grade change after a review. Final definitive grades appear on certificates issued by the exam board later in the year.

Collecting results

Candidates will receive individual provisional results slips, either

  • In person at the school or
  • By post to their home addresses if candidates have given a stamped and addressed envelope to the exams officer before the end of term.
  • Results can be collected on behalf of a candidate by others, provided they have been authorised to do so. Candidates should provide the exams office with a permission form this before the end of term. Please click here to download the form.
  • Results cannot be given out over the telephone or via email.

6th Form Enrolment

6thformcontacts na2Year 11 students need to enrol for the 6th form as soon as they have collected their GCSE results. Enrolment will be in the Group Study Area of the new 6th Form block.

Guidance, counselling and help with selecting the right courses for you in the light of your GCSE results will be provided by our 6th form team as required.

If in any doubt or you need help and advice call the school and ask for the 6th form.

So straight after you have collected your provisional GCSE results you need to enrol for the 6th form.

It is very important that you enrol on GCSE results day. If you are going to be away on this date please contact Ms Jenny Browne, the 6th Form secretary, as soon as possible.

  • All OTHER SCHOOL's Year 11 students should enrol between 12.00pm and 2.00pm

enrolment2014 03Students from other schools MUST bring an official printout of their results from all of their Level 2 qualifications (GCSE, BTEC, etc.) in order to confirm their places and course choices.


It is very important that you enrol on GCSE results day. If for any reason you are unable to enrol on GCSE results day you should enrol on Friday 23rd August between 10am and 1pm. If you are going to be away on these dates please contact Ms Jenny Browne, the 6th Form secretary, as soon as possible.

Starting 6th Form timetables


Year 12

Start school on Wednesday 4th September


  • Arrive 08:15 - 08:30. 
  • 08:30 - There will be a welcome in their tutor group.
  • Year 12 Assembly Periods 1 and 2
  • Lessons will commence Period 3



Year 13

Start school on Thursday 5th September


  • Arrive 08:15 - 08:30 and come to the 6th Form Common Room to see which tutor group you are in
  • 08:30 - 08:50 Year 13 students to go to their tutor room
  • Lessons will commence Period 1
