Dear Parents,

I will later on this evening write to you with further explanation but I wanted you to be aware of the following significant changes to how Highams Park School will run for the final two days of this term.

Students from Years 10, 11, 12, 13 will be able to attend face to face lessons in school and will follow their established timetable.

Students from Years 7, 8, 9 will remain at home and will have their lessons delivered via remote learning.

This decision has been taken in response to the letter from Mr Gibb that I am sure you have seen in the press. Children of critical workers or vulnerable children in Years 7 – 9 will be provided with a supervised space to complete their work in school.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. A more detailed response in due course but I wanted to communicate this significant change in arrangements as soon as possible.

Regards

Phil Grundy
